CALIBRE President & CEO Named a Finalist for GovCon Executive of the Year

Alexandria, Virginia, September 22, 2017 – CALIBRE Systems, Inc. (CALIBRE) announced that Joe Martore, President & CEO, was named a finalist for Executive of the Year in the $75 million - $300 million annual revenue category at the upcoming 15th Annual Greater Washington Government Contractor (GovCon) Awards™.

The GovCon Awards is the premier event honoring the leadership, innovation, and commitment to excellence of the people and businesses in the region's government contracting community.  The Executive of the Year award is presented to a government contracting executive in the Greater Washington area who is recognized for making outstanding contributions to his or her company, the community, and the government contracting industry during the past year.

“Mr. Martore’s leadership has greatly contributed to CALIBRE’s success,” said Lieutenant General J. Terry Scott, USA, Retired, CALIBRE’s Chairman of the Board of Directors.  “His vision for the company’s growth is to always look forward as we renew ourselves and enable the success of our clients, our employees, and our communities.  This recognition of our CEO is an honor which recognizes CALIBRE’s continued growth and strong presence in the government contracting community.”

Mr. Martore serves on the Boards of Directors for the Professional Services Council (PSC), the Northern Virginia Chamber of Commerce, the Northern Virginia Technology Council, Easter Seals Serving DC | MD | VA, and the Laurel Grove School Museum Association.
The 15th Annual Greater Washington GovCon Awards™ will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2017 at The Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner, Virginia.
