ABOUT THE DEI COUNCIL

The DEI Council is a committee of seven employee volunteers.
We meet monthly as a council and report quarterly to the CEO and to CALIBRE leadership as appropriate. Council activities include reviewing CALIBRE’s policies and procedures to recommend changes where appropriate, promoting training, implementing DEI best practices, publishing bi-monthly newsletters, conducting surveys, receiving feedback and input from employees, facilitating employee resource groups, and updating internal and external communications from a DEI perspective.

OUR OBJECTIVES

The DEI Council is committed to represent employees by seeking their input and considering their feedback. It is chartered with the following recurring objectives that guide the actions and activities of the council:

CALIBRE leadership and employees on matters relating to diversity, equity, and inclusion as an important dimension of CALIBRE.

Empower

Our employees to share ideas and make CALIBRE the best possible place to work, that is inclusive and respectful, with processes and programs that are impartial and promote equal opportunity, while delivering superior performance to our clients and increasing the value of CALIBRE.

Inspire

Our employees to achieve their full potential as an integrated team that differentiates CALIBRE so that we can recruit and retain a diverse and competitive workforce.

Employee Resource Groups

Veterans ERG

The Veterans ERG is a community of Veterans, Veteran Spouses, and Veteran supporters. The VERG provides a means to ease the transition from military service to CALIBRE and provide an environment for shared experiences, camaraderie, and networking.

Women’s ERG

The Women's ERG is a community that encourages women to advance their skills and leadership potential through collaboration, mentorship, and connection.

Mental Health Advocacy ERG

The Mental Health Advocacy ERG is a community of supporters of mental health. The goal is to remove mental health-related stigma through social contact, peer support, and education.

Young Professionals ERG

The Young Professionals ERG is a community of employees who are in the early stages of their career. The goal is to help young professionals develop a sense of community, grow professionally, and build bridges across CALIBRE.

Pride ERG

The Pride ERG is a community that fosters inclusivity, support, and empowerment for LGBTQ+ employees and allies, providing a safe space for connection, advocacy, and professional growth.
