NIDA Selects CALIBRE to Continue Support for Informatics Program Under New Contract

Alexandria, Virginia, October 2, 2017 – CALIBRE Systems, Inc. (CALIBRE) has been awarded a contract with the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) Division of Therapeutics and Medical Consequences (DTMC). CALIBRE will provide clinical informatics and document management support, helping NIDA DTMC to compile, analyze, and disseminate information about its research findings on potential treatments for substance abuse. 

"Hundreds of researchers and scientists at NIDA, universities, and clinical study sites rely on the NIDA DTMC Informatics Program to further their pursuit of knowledge and collaboration as they study the causes and treatment of substance abuse and addiction,” said Dorisa Harris, Vice President of CALIBRE’s Health & Information Management  Division.  “Our ongoing data management and document management work ensures that researchers have access to important scientific information to support their work.”

This contract continues the work that CALIBRE has performed since its acquisition of the Health & Life Sciences and the Defense & Public Sector business of Information Management Consultants, Inc. (IMC). CALIBRE provides NIDA with support managing digital objects, including laboratory results, genomic and phenotype data, clinical data, and published scientific literature.
