We work and play hard together as a team.

The “CALIBRE Attitude and Morale Patrol” (CAMP) is a group of employee volunteers responsible for organizing a wide range of social gatherings, recreational events, and community outreach activities for employees and their families. This includes ice cream socials, potluck lunches, and chili cook-offs held at work periodically throughout the year. Outside of work, we enjoy ourselves at the annual company picnic, holiday dinner, and golf tournament, hikes in local national parks, and outings to major and minor league baseball games…just to name a few.

We practice good citizenship and community outreach.

The notion of “being a good citizen” is so important at CALIBRE that we have made it one of our six corporate objectives. We participate in a wide variety of community outreach activities including hosting blood drives for the American Red Cross, participating in the Adopt-a-Highway program, supporting the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program, partnering with a local school for tutoring and other support, and participating in numerous other charitable events and programs. We also support our employees who serve as National Guard and Reserve soldiers. We continually strive to be good members of our local communities. We are proud of the level of staff participation and involvement in so many activities that support our local communities and the Nation.

Our Employee Owners Advisory Committee members are elected for nomination by the ESOP participants and appointed by the CALIBRE Board of Directors.  They are chartered to promote the culture of employee-ownership and to provide information about our ESOP to our employees.  A member of this committee also sits on CALIBRE’s Board of Directors to provide additional balance and perspective on issues of corporate visibility and the long-term interests of all employee-owners.
